It's time to lay down some track in
Steam. You construct railroads and deliver goods using an ever-changing network of stations and tracks. As the game progresses and your desire for wealth increases, you'll upgrade towns through urbanization and growth. As you improve your train, you'll need to take the right goods on the longest and most profitable deliveries if you hope to rule the rails. As you score your deliveries, you will need to carefully balance your need to improve and stay competitive with investments against your need to add victory points towards winning the game.
Steam is played on a colorful, double-sided game board that features northeastern USA and Canada for 3-4 player games and, Europe's lower Rhine and Ruhr region for 4-5 player games. Steam includes rules for both a detailed "Standard Game" and an easier and quicker "Base Game".
