Descent: Journey in the Dark, is an adventure exploration game utilizing modular boards and adventure situations. While there is one player who acts as the dungeon master, the other players work cooperatively to explore the dungeon. Players must investigate dungeons, travel to lost cities, and explore forgotten ruins. Along the way the heroes must face deadly foes such as the Hell Hounds, Giants, Skeletons, and Dragons (and more). Those who defeat their enemies, and return from the dungeon, will gain useful tools and powerful weapons. Do you have it in you to venture into dungeons, escape the traps, discover lost treasure, and defeat the evil that lurks within the darkness?
Please note: This is a stand alone game and does not require other games to play, although there are a few expansions for this game.
