Many modern offshoots like Pente, Reversi, and Othello were inspired by Go, but none have the deep strategy elements of this game. Unlike Chess where computers can best the highest rated Grand Masters, no computer program can complete with a Go Champion. This fine wood set has a board that measures 11 inches by 10.5 inches bu 5/8 inch with a 19 by 19 line grid. The black and white stones measure 1/2 inch in diameter. Instructions are included.
