Does your team have the ability to save the world? Then suit up, because four diseases have decided to take up residence within the human population, and you must beat the clock before our species becomes extinct!
Each player will have special skills for fighting the diseases, therefore, everyone must cooperate in tandem in order to eradicate the tiny invaders.
During each player's turn, he or she must perform three steps:
- Take four actions (either basic actions or the special actions - as listed above with the special abilities). Basic actions provide avenues for moving the pawns.
- Draw two cards to add to hand.
- Take on the role of "Infector", which is how the diseases are shuffled throughout the game.
The challenge of this game is trying to curb the infection rate while simultaneously developing cures; all before disease over takes the world. The board displays a world map, with various large cities acting as the nodes from which players will manuever. With such cards tossed into the mix as the "Special Event" cards, and "Epidemics" cards, the game is always in a state of flux, adding to the excitement of the game! A very addicting game, you and your teammates will want to play more than once!
