As if things were not chaotic enough in the town of Arkham! A secretive and dangerous cult has taken up residence, in an attempt to awaken the evil Ancient One. While they offer sacrifices and consort with evil powers (especially with the Ancient One's Herald, the Black Goat of the Woods), monsters descend on the town wreaking havoc and terror. As one of the investigators, you (and your team) must secretly infiltrate the cult and learn from their dark rituals. Take heed from the proverb, the road to hell is paved with good intentions! Very few can learn of the Ancient One and not eventually fall victim to the madness. The fate of the town, even the world, is up to you and your fellow players - but hey, no pressure!
