This Bicycle Pinochle single deck contains the 48 cards needed for a standard game. In Pinochle, players are often rewarded when they can leap on opportunities while being unafraid of risk. The first player to reach 1000 points is the winner of this game that is often compared to chess or bridge. Please note: Pinochle decks are built of a special construction that is not compatible with most other playing card games.

Submited By: Kat Panza on 05/18/2004 Maybe it seems a little odd that I would pick this as one of my top ten games, let alone my number one game, considering how popular poker is right now. What's next? Wist? I have been playing this game since I was ten, and while it's a little more challenging of a game to learn, it blows all other card games out of the water, and is well worth the time to learn. There is risk in bidding, there is risk in having to trust your partner(s), and there is risk in taking all the tricks you need to make your bid. It is so satisfying though when you clean up! You learn to count cards, add quickly, and which cards to play to grab the most points. This is my absolute favorite game and any of our pinochle decks are quite "suit"able for play.
