In this
Froggy Farkel edition, your six Farkel dice travel in padded style! The white, plastic storage case is 2 7/8" x 2" x 3/4" and has a green foam lining with dice-sized cutouts. Each white die displays a green frog in place of the number one.
Farkel is the original "quit-while-you're-ahead" dice game that goes by various names and elusive origins. Roll the dice for ones, fives, or specific combinations, and keep track of your running score. Quit while you've got points or take a risk and keep rolling for more. Any roll without points, and your turn is over...and you lose any points you earned on that turn.
Depending on your source, Farkel was first played in Iceland in 1492 by Sir Albert Farkle; or on French sailing ships over 600 years ago; or as an English folk game that spread by work of mouth. Regardless of where Farkel really came from, you'll want this edition in your game collection!
