Battlelore is an epic fantasy adventure game that puts you into the throes of battle! The story of
Battlelore weaves the elements of history and fantasy together, forming an adventurous undertaking with players proactively deploying an assortment of miniature troops. The scene is fought on a Medieval battlefield, right at the brink of the
One Hundred Years War. Goblins and Dwarves serve as mercenaries, fighting with either the English or French armies. Players also have the choice of Lore Masters (Wizards, Warriors, Rogues, and Clerics) whose unique abilities can aid them when needed. The winner is the player who collects the most victory banners (as specified by the game's victory conditions).
Battlelore is played using a "Command and Color System," which utilizes a combination of Section Cards, Tactic Cards, and Battle Dice for the outcome. Players of different experience (from novice to expert) will find Battlelore an engaging game, as it offers three ascending levels of play! Battlelore features elements of a strategic struggle, set against the backdrop of a Medieval adventure (with some historical aspects) and of the fantasy based, Lore-style adventure.
