Lost Cities is one of those games that you can sit down with just about anyone and teach them how to play in about fifteen minutes. It is also one of those games that people will ask to play again and again.
It is very simple with a few expiditions that you can choose to go on at any time, but be careful. Each expidition has its costs and you need to make sure you have enough cards to overcome that cost. Many new players will try to do too many expiditions and end up with a negative score at the end.
My wife and I play this game when are wanting a quiet night with music or the TV in the background. It doesn't require absolute attention and the game is over when the last card is drawn. A great two player game that anyone can learn to play and enjoy!
